Redditch Liberal Democrats Join Residents in Marking Armistice Day

Lead by Vice-Chair Andrew Fieldsend-Roxborough, members of Redditch Liberal Democrats paid their respects to all those who have died serving our country during war. He was joined on the day by two members of the local party Andy Thompson and Roy Magara. 

Andy, who had previously served in the Royal Navy said 'It was fantastic to see Redditch residents turn out in such numbers for Rememberance Sunday. Its really important that we come together to remember those who gave their lives in service to the country.'

'The freedoms we enjoy today have come at a heavy price for our brave servicemen and women. Over 1 million of them have given their lives so that we can live in a free and democratic country and that is something we must never forget. As populism rises accross the world, we must resist it with every fibre of our collective being.'
